Great news .
Q1. Has anyone tried it with ORBX/FTX Wales scenery loaded , is it compatible ?

I usually launch from RAF Valley to fly the Mach Loop.
I usually fly the Mach Loop at about 200' and 350-450 knots in the F-111.
One other question .
Q2. What speed and height do others fly it at ?

Q3. Where did you find the ' plane spotters scenery for Mach Loop ' ?

Cheers
Karol

Has anyone managed to download this RAF Valley scenery ?

I tried without success !

Cheers
Karol

Edit-update
Managed to download it ,but .. Google blocked it for 'presumeably security' reasons , and the
download disappeared !

Is the above linked organisation reputable ?

Internet Explorer wouldn't allow me to download the scenery. No errors seen...it just froze up. Downloading using Firefox as we speak.:encouragement:

I downloaded it, but it wouldnt complete conversion to zip on the desktop. the mega site showed 100% downloaded, but it never seemed to complete its process on my desktop.

Request to the original author to please put this somewhere else.

Thanks
Eric

My anti virus software put it straight into quarintine once it downloaded so I have not been able to look at it

Hmmmmm.... I just downloaded it with Firefox and unzipped it with WinRAR without issue. I scanned the installer executable with Avast and it came up clean. Maybe they fixed it?

Glad to hear that it's not just me having problems.

Obviously there is something suspect about the organisation involved , I will now avoid them.

It's a shame as the screenshots of RAF Valley were very impressive.

Cheers

I downloaded it with internet explorer, didn't have any problems at all and it's installed fine. Looks quite good for a beta.

I downloaded with IE when the op started the thread....also, no problems with the download or installation, no security warnings....it's a darn nice scenery! One thing I did notice with that mega site is that it seemed to hang at 99%...after a few seconds of waiting, I jiggled my mouse, and it went to 100%, then the download manager popped up to confirm download completed.

Really? That's not obvious at all to me. What's seems far more likely is that some security software is incorrectly flagging the download.

Hi all,

Just a quick post to say we are still working on Valley. Just work and other commitments take all the free time up at the moment!

I'm at the moment going though trying to get more information on some of the buildings we are missing. I'm also getting pictures for the newer Hawk T2 Ground Equipment and aircraft steps etc as well.

I would like to a push for a full release soon but as i've been away from modelling for abit, just grtting the mojo back.

If anyone has any reference shots of on base, please post or PM me.

I'll try get some new WIP shots up ASAP!

Matt

P.s Have been here for while due to PC.

That's an idiotic outburst as I have both this and the machloop scenery installed without any problems so there is nothing suspect about the organisation

Luckily youll never get to enjoy said scenery though :wavey:

Very impressive.
Downloaded and installed today without a hitch (Win10, FSXA, WinZip, Kaspersky) or warning.

Great stuff!!! :applause:

Hopefully the JF Hawk will be out soon to complete the picture!

I've just grabbed the file (thanks) and will install into my P3Dv3.3.5 and ORBX Wales. I'll report back here with respect to compatibility etc. :encouragement:

Adam.

UPDATE: Installed fine into P3Dv3+ORBX FTX WLS :jump:, with the usual caveats (3 EGOV files to switch OFF). There's a slight palette difference between the base airfield tile and its surroiundings, but the airfield+objects appear to be showing fine! Should I post screenshots here, or take it to PM?
