HU: TACAN Replacements, Waypoints & Routes - UK Modern

"By default, all of the TACAN navigational aids present within FSX have the bearing component turned off, so as to properly represent the real world result of tuning in the DME component of a TACAN with a civilian plane. However, this limits their functionality when you wish to use them in conjunction with a plane (generally military) equipped with a representation of a functioning TACAN system. This download contains replacements for all of the currently active TACAN ground stations present in the UK, along with custom TACAN route waypoints as well as UK MIL AIP documentation and maps. These allows the user to fly the TACAN routes as per real world operations, as well as use TACAN approach charts."

Available at AVSIM.
Californian TACAN updates by the same author (Jim Stewart) are also available.

I thought about adding them here too (I'm the author), but I might wait until I finish a package for the entire US, which is in the works.

I was working on the US when I decided to do some for the UK, since I've been flying the Lightning lately.

On a side note: I was going to try and do some of the older, inactive TACAN stations for the UK, but my list got really long, really fast. I think I have about 3 dozen more 'retro' TACAN's, but I only have complete info for about 2 thirds of those. Finding any info on TACAN stations in the UK, much less any ones that have been decommissioned for more than a dozen years, has proved to be a very difficult task. In fact, even to get a lat/long on most of them resulted in hours of scrutinizing google maps, looking for evidence of them around unused airbases...

Needless to say, if anyone has any info from say, the 70's regarding active TACAN stations at that time, I'd be very appreciative.
