As nobody else has answered...

The original source was Patrick Didier's model which was released at the very beginning of CFS3. Mathias then did the cockpit for MAW, and the model was reworked to the current standard. GregoryP of AvHistory did a 4.XX air file, and that was the version released in MAW as the MkI, IIa, IIb and IIc, with and without Vokes filters. A IId was done at the time but was not released as it fell outside the period covered by MAW Chapter 1. It has been released since, as has a MkIV.

They are all based on the same model, and all the subsequent or 'ETO' ones are either straight repaints or mild modifications of the MAW originals.

That means that they are all of equal accuracy, and no one version can be singled out as being the more accurate. Obviously the Mk IId and Mk IV are not fighter versions, so your choice from among the others will be determined by the types available at that time in that area.

The BoB install Hurricane I's are pretty good. They have the PD model tweaked by Ted 'Crossram' Miller, Mathias/Pat Pattle cockpit model, airfile & xdp mods by Rob 'Capt Winters' Stevenson and Ted Miller and skins by John ' Bravo 4/4' Wheelan.

This one I've hacked the texture of to represent Tom Neils 249 sqdn aircraft (his book 'Gun Button to Fire' is one of the best I've read on the experiences of a BoB pilot).

But as Nigel says they're all basically similar and all very good!

Actually, there is one snag with all the PD based models in that he made the fuselage too narrow, it's not noticeable until you come to work on the cockpit and you can't fit it all in! I think the SU payware hurricanes are better.
