A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Skins - British

Description: AH BOB skins for 501 & 610 sqn RAF by UncleTgt

This is a collection of repaints for the AH BOB Hurricane Mk1 & AH BOB Spitfire Mk1A for CFS 2. In January 2023 SOH member _486_Col_Wolf made a request for skins depicting aircraft used by 501 & 610 sqns - this is the result. They were posted into the discussion thread at the time, but I thought I should uploadd them to the library as well. They are based on Morton's excellent campaign specific repaints, all I've done is to overpaint with the appropriate aircraft markings.

The textures are:

AH BOB Hurricane: SD - F V7357 Sgt James "Ginger" Lacey, 501 sqn RAF, circa SEP40

AH BOB Spitfire: DW - K X4102 P/O Donald McIntosh-Gray, 610 sqn RAF, circa AUG40

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Thanks to: Aeroplane Heaven for the multi-LOD originals.

Morton for his collection of campaign specific repaints.

Kelticheart for his propeller transparencies.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions

UT,

I just wanted to thank you again for these skins. The ones you made for me were stunning and exactly what I needed for my 610 Sq. and 501 Sq. BoB campaigns.
