..and I couldn't resist to give in to this old addiction! :icon_lol:Still a wonderful plane! I don't know if this one has been done before...:isadizzy:

Hi Cees,

With all respect to other providers of paintkit, but I think this paintkit is among the best I have ever seen!

Nice repaint Cees, but I really can't answer the question whether it is already done or not.

Cheers,
Huub

:wavey:I like these overall green (RML 70) E's. Here's a Bf109E-1 flown by Dietrich Wickop, 3./JG 52, August1939.

Sometimes there are more bells and whistles, but with Martin's paintkit it's easy as 1-2-3! Again: I don't know whether this one was done before?

Bonjour Cees,

I found one of your re-paints under the name of Hans Berthel, from 2./JG 52, which was done by another 109E lover by the name of "Epsillon".

But I don't remember seing any of the others, so WOW, WHERE and WHEN do we get to enjoy the results of your artistic creations...:kilroy:

Looking forward to your postings...

Cheers,

Fleurdelys

Thank you fleurdelys! I had no idea but I think I'll upload that one too. It differs quit a lot from Epsillon's version: yelllow gun throughs; yellow spinner cap; overall RLM 70. I'll start with the readme's!

I like the early light blue versions as well!

Bf109E-3 flown by Hptm. Günther Lützow Gruppenkommandeur I./JG 3, at Montécouvez, May 1940.
And Messerschmitt Bf109E-4 of I./JG 2 based at Cherbourg-West, Summer 1940.

I redid that last one as it had a few flaws: I din't like the JG2 shield, and there was a missing texture on the air intake!

Just had a short hop with both your 109's...

They are gorgeous in their drabness... (in a very subtle way...) :icon_lol:

Thanks again Cees. I'll be looking forward to the next skins !

That drabness, is that the blurriness when you look real close at the plane, or are you just referring to the green color?

Cees

I was referring to the green color... :kilroy:

My downloads are a little over 1 meg; are they OK or did I get the wrong ones ?
Which I doubt since they look awfully good when in flight...

Cheers,

Fleurdelys

'drabness', I like it, sounds Scottish, lol. Matches our weather very well. For a combat plane, drabness would be good, on the most part it would fit in perfectly with the European skies.
