I couldn't resist it.

The Dr1, on ace, with the Baron aboard. First time I parked on his tail and followed him wherever he went, left right up and down, throttle open, throttle shut. He's a wiley bugger and no mistake. Then he screamed, really loudly, and then his airplane set alight. Damn, I wish I'd filmed that one.

So I did it again, and filmed it this time, but it wasn't as good. He crashed on the bank of a river.

I feel kind of dirty now, and I don't want to upload it. Am I weird? :icon_lol:

Siggi,

If you have to ask..... :focus:

Post away! Try it against Werner Voss!

Hi, Siggi
I'm not sure, if the Baron was "on bord". I chose a SPAD XIII in Quickflight, and chose the skin for Eddie Rickenbaker's plane. Theyhad two planes, we had two. I destroyed them both.
But I pressed "Q" to see what the label said. It said "French airman" on both.
It should have been "SPAD Ace: Rickenbaker" or similar. So, it wasn't him.

Maybe to meet him, you must fly Campaign, and come across him by chance.
Not sure though...

Well, the Baron was a pretty mediocre pilot by all accounts, he had other talents that made him the success he was.

So I reckon it wasn't him. The chap I was flying against was too good, in pure piloting terms. More of a Voss, but not as good as Voss (no flat 180-degree turns for starters).

I suspect certain aces have 'special attributes' in campaign mode. Least I hope they do. Don't want to cheapen any possible victories. ;)

SIGGI: I suspect certain aces have 'special attributes' in campaign mode.

Yes, that's what I think. And the devs wouldn't give that away in Quick flight mode, so we can't train fighting them, but must face them in real life - arr, Campaign.
I wish, the day had 30 hours - I'd love to do another flight...
