• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Daube, don't be mad... One of my all time favorite ships ever, and the FSX version was excellent, in its day. This one is... Just something else. Wasn't cheap... Worth... Every... Penny.... As nice on FPS as a default aircraft, so I'm blown away. By its propwash. :D

Scenery in XP is blowing my mind, taking over my brain. :D :)

Haha....yeah there's not a very large XP presence on these forums. Avsim has a bit larger one same with FS.com. X plane dot Org is there main userbase.

Anyway that's one plane I don't have yet....though I ALMOST bought it last nite!

I was on the fence for days. It's worth it. I can't tell a difference between it and default aircraft in terms of PC performance. Nicely done on their part.
 
Wow, I was expecting you to buy some payware for Xplane soon... but no SO soon :biggrin-new:
(And actually, I was expecting you to buy the Carenado Waco first, because of your avatar :p )
Well done ! I have read some very good feedback about that plane. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because it's not a plane I really like in real life :)

PS: Waco rocks.. Hope they do the updated version with the glass cockpit..
 
If you're referring to the ship in my images, that's the SIAI SF.260 Marchetti, by Jrollon for XP11. Amazing amazing ship. Love it to pieces, and it's a fun time. :)

You have the Alabeo Waco for XP11? It's good on FPS and everything works in XP 11?
 
Ah actually I didn't check if that plane works in XP11... In fact, I had not noticed it was listed as XP10 only... Sorry for that :/

Outside of the usual XP11 ground handling oddities which 11.40 has gone a long way to correct, the Whacko ( LOL ) is quite litteraly my favorite aircraft outside of the C-337 and A-37. It's simply a beautiful plane to fly. But yeah, the newer Waco's can be ordered with a glass cockpit and I wish we had that option. Some navigation would be a great asset..
