I Didn't Even Know These Guys Had A Museum!

Someone posted about this museum awhile back. I actually got to see a lot of that collection back when it was outside Tucson, AZ at Marana. No fee, just had to call ahead and get special passes. The collection was just housed inside like two hangars. I really wish their 17 was still flying. Its really well-restored inside, and back then, (20 years ago or so) I actually got to walk through it.

Seriously???
Need to get out from behind the camera more I guess, P. :icon_lol:

Have the "Spruce Goose" there as well, which you can walk through.
Waterpark, Theater. You can easily spend an entire day there, IMHO.

What?? :salute: And I suppose you never heard of the Spruce Goose??

It's a must visit for us every two years. Great brew pub downtown, and then off to the Tillamook Air Museum.

Actually, the first shots with the 747 on the roof is the water park. Haven't done that myself, but I heard that you can slide down from the 747 into the water park below.

The museum is in two parts. The main one has the Spruce Goose. The second one is for space exploration. And in-between is an iMax theater.

If you plan to go, plan at least 4 hours minimum.
