I don't know why but I have always liked..

Hi,

Strange looking beast indeed....the gauges are described as stock CFS1 Hurricane and Spitfire and are not included and which I don't have:icon_lol:. Is there some way to post them up??

Andy.

The Vickers Wellesley was originally a response to a specification for a general purpose biplane (G4/31). Vickers built a biplane to the required specification as well as the Wellesley, which outperformed the biplane considerably.

It was designed by Barnes Wallis (R.101, Wellington and bouncing bomb fame), using the geodetic construction, making it light, but very strong.

It held the long distance, non stop flight record for a while, flying from Ismailia in Egypt to Darwin Australia, a distance of 7,162 miles in a little over 48 hours in 1938.

Wellesley's did good service in North Africa during the war even though they were obsolete.

Andy,
Have you already tried to fly the Wellesley in FS9 to see if the gauges show up? Check your FS9 Gauges folder and see if you have hurricane_1.gau and spitfire_mki.gau, I'm pretty sure these are default MS gauges and come standard with FS9 as well as CFS2. I just tried the Wellesley Mk I in FS9 and the gauges show up on the 2D panel but not in the VC which is probably correctable.

I know the gauges in the VC can be a bit blurry; try replacing the VC section with this; it helps:

The models by Jed Marsh are all very nice. My personal favourite is the Fairey Battle.

I aliased the sound to the Handley Page as I read that they used the same engines and it sounds pretty good on my rig. I'll post up some light and dust settings for this bird this weekend.
