I eventualy got around to doing some more too the Hornisse

SteveB

Very odd jobs man and MiGaholic
I first started painting these when it was released, almost got the masters done now.
Can anyone reccomend some proper engine sounds for the Hornisse ?

The Ground crew sounds for their CFS3 Bf-110 could be usefull.
This sound pack can be found here .

The texures look nice. Did you de-shine the model?

Thanks for the thought i had completly forgotten about the GC sounds. And yes I have a satin finnish too the model helps me see things clearly rather than all that shine.

Glad to see you painting again Mate! The ME-410 has always been my favourite Luftwaffe twin - looking forward to your skins, which are looking fantastic.

Cheers! Mike :ernae:

Cheers Mike, it's bin a busy few months, but it will calm down after the next week or two and then what passes for normality will be resumed. I have an RAF and another luftwaffe underway.

Great stuff Stevie-B!! :applause:

Many thanks in advance for the masters.

I've got something for the crew if you like it?

Cheers Shessi

Sorry for the delay Mike but I have been away for the past 4 days working down at the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford. Once I have had some sleep and got rid of my hang over I will be getting back into the saddle. I have just sent Shessi my email addy so I can include his pilot textures

Sorry guys got distracted by a rotory thing somewhat, I have 6 or so skins ready, I will be doing the paperwork tonight and upload them in the next 24 hours, a couple of minor tweaks and I'll have the REAf skin finnished, and heres one that I dont think you have seen yet.

First three are uploaded and awaiting admin.
A big thank you to Shessi for the crew.

Steve

Took a break from L29 cammo's today, and have bin playing with a fictional desert scheme instead.

Hi Steve,
Many thanks for some great re-paints. Breathed new life into the ol' girl. :applause:

This scheme looks good! I like....

Actually you're not that far off a real scheme. Quite a few ac used 02 as a base colour (I know your's is a little more sand-gelb), instead of standard 74 or 76 towards the end of the war.
Your 82/83 green with 81 (which was reported to be from a chocolate to a red-brown colour) or old stocks of 26 would look like that....maybe???

(BTW the scheme would look great on an Ardennes King Tiger or Panther! :d)

Cheers

Shessi
