I'm still not sure, if I will do any proper schemes on it as there is a lot of mirrored textures.

A Classic stallin AF Cargo. I think i have one of those in cuban paint. Ive got to check .

I did some paints on this model when it first came out, found them the other day and decided that seeing how this is the only available An12 about, I am going to have another go at it. The mirrored textures on the wings do present some probs with the positioning of any reg numbers ect, and texture pull is a little wierd in places on the rear of the fuselage, but I should be able too get it about right. First scheme will be the traditional CCCP Aeroflot scheme.

Got bored with riveting the tail textures so decided to give it a quick lick of paint. just about got the front half of the fuselage done on the new Aeroflot paint.

Still working on the wing details panel lines ect, on the masters, but nearly got the Aeroflot paint done, just the door outline left to do.

Props are an issue from memory and i dont remember the panel as mine is custum russian job.

Update on the Aeroflot paint, and a new Russian Airforce 257th Independent Composit Air Regiment, 1997, paint.

The 257th is a real treat. I love seeing russian units like american unit AC's.

Actually Steve, I think your talents would do Mike Stone's DHC-4 Caribou or Premier Aircraft Design's DHC-5 Buffalo sweet justice. You have a real knack for vintage military short haulers.

I do still need a Caribou painting up for my vietnam install. I have painted quiet a few transports in recent months, was thinking of doing some F5's after the Antonov, I am thinking of painting up Piglets model.
