Hello everyone,
My name is Sid and I am new to this forum. I just wanted to introduce myseld as a propliner enthusiast. I have been in the CFS3 forum and found very friendly and decent people there.

I want to first thank all those involved in the Lockheed Starliner project. An absolutely glorious aircraft!

I recently purchased FSDS 3.5 and trying to fiddle with it.

Does anyone know of some relatively easy to follow tutorials for using FSDS 3.5 to creaste FS9 aircraft with VCs?

I hope to use this software to develop some nice propliners with beautiful VCs such as one of my favorites the Douglas Seven Seas.

Thank you very much and I hope to develop some good online friendships here.

I doubt you'll find more friendly and helpful folks anywhere. SOH is home to myself and many other fellow simmers and fir good reason.

Come on in and set a spell; take yer shoes off.:d And welcome.

Thank you everyone for the hearty welcome

Thank you everyone. Yes, this is indeed a very friendly forum. Mr. Shupe thank you for the links. I will study the material therein. I am very fond of your aircraft: the Beechcraft D18 brings back memories.

Welcome to the forum Sid, though I really don't belong here since I don't even have FS2002 or FS2004...I just like sneaking in from the CFS2 forums and see what FS2004 planes are being introduced that I might want to convert to CFS2....one day I will get FS2004 and become a real member of this forum.

Another good source for FSDS tutorials is on Dave Eckart's site, Daviator.com.

Welcome aboard Sid!

An awesome group of people here.

Not everyday that the famous Milton Shupe sends you links. :d

www.freeflightdesign.com is an awesome site. They have some downloadable FSDS source files you can open in some versions of FSDS so you can see how they work, how they are animated, etc. (Felix, the guy that runs FFD shows up here now and then).

Bill Lyons had a great tutorial on basics of a VC, which is how I learned to make them, but I have no idea where that tutorial is. It 'might' be at AbacusPub.com in the FSDS site pages.

Just kidding! Welcome to the board! I'm not a designer, but Lionheart is quite adept (as are many other members here!)

Except for Dave Maltby's creations and the Sabre, I tend to prefer props too!
