I need some repainters help :-(

I wish i could help you, but my painters knowledge is as far as FsRepaint and midway thru studying the manuals for PSP. Were might I buy the C-160 please, and are the textures easy to make a USCG one considering I cant find a decent Casa235. Have you tried to contact Bananna Bob, he's the resident prop go to man.

Thx TIM .. I'll think I'll wait for help before I ask anybody. btw You fly my NH90 still ??? :kilroy: I Think about a new version in red colours...

Hope to find a guy who knows to paint turning propellers...

Try looking up "BananaBob" on these forums - he usually hangs out these days in the FSX forums - He would love to help!

Ah found the C-160 store and got it. Is that a Turkish Stars paint?? Yep i still have the lovely Nh-90. I'm scheduling a lovely SAR patrol with her soon on RWATC once a week.

Hello Andi,

painting the spin prop texture is not very difficult :)

First of all you have to find the texture in your texture folder. Then open the texture with DXTBmp, export the alpha channel to a save place and save the texture as a 24bit bitmap. Now you can paint the texture with your paint program. After that open the bitmap again with DXTBmp, import the alpha channel and save it as a 32bit texture. That's it :)

Greetings
Tim

Following on from Tim's comment.

If you look at the screen shot of FSRepaint in that German link, the two prop textures are at the bottom on the left. The prop disc and the stationary prop.

Those are the ones that need re-painting.
