• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Well with Christmas just passing it's a bite to have to ask the members for money again for the bandwidth. The problem we have is our members run the site with their money. We have a few payware planes but we usually just give them to our members for free. I know you guys already know I hate to ask for money from the members ...and I am thankful that I don't have to mess with it this time, but the donations have come to a stop and we still have to pay the bill at the beginning of the month I wish we could get it for free but that's another dream of mine. We have over a thousands visits a day by our members....if each one donated 7 bucks a piece we would have more that enough. So I would like to ask all members if you can help out please do....I very much like this family and I would like to serve you in the up coming year:salute:....Mike

First, we are grateful for having this great Forum, a family oriented one, where we, people with a common denominator gather, exchange views, socialize, share our family, vent our headaches, take pride of our hobbies, associate with one another, share common attitudes, interest, goals, and frequently see each together on this great site....



Since we are a big family, although we have different views, we respect each other, and that is what you taught us to do.... Peace is always implemented in this site, and is balanced with humour and joy of our choice of entertainment.

did you know ... that if every active member on the site donated $1.00 the SOH bill could be paid off for several years ..... and its not like your all from yorkshire! (were known for being tight with our money :icon_lol:)

well acording to the forum stats down at the bottom of the index theres around 16K active members, how many are here just the downloads though i dunno .....
 
I MIGHT be able to sneak in another small donation...got to do the grocery shopping, get the dog her rabies shot, and pick up a perscription for Deb...once I have that done, I will know were we stand for the rest of the month.

It's still a long way to Feb. 1 when Uncle Sam drops my next retirement deposit but I may be able to kick in a bit more. :)
