Darn, I would have bought that immediately!!! I sure hope the game is revived, or someone else creates one like it, and DOES release it!

It actually opened up new doors, like a blessing. I will do some of my own designs that are similar. Might do better and work out for my carreer as well.

The interesting thing is the splendid graphics in both of those. This gives true hope for the upcoming magnum opus "Storm of War" series which are said to outclass those graphics....and they will be a true sim for PC's.

Wow. That looked like a really fun game. That's really dissapointing. I'm sure it'll be replaced on the shelf by some EA game that'll barely work out of the box.
I miss Crimson Skies. Can't find my install cds anywhere to reload it. Have to check and see if anyone online is still selling it for cheap. That was a hugely fun game. It would be even more fun now that I actually have an X52.

is it possible that the company made the video as to say "this is what the game will look like" and then the programmer told them "we can't do that" ?
as difficult as phil always said fsx was to write, i can imagine that combat sim would have been a major undertaking.

Well I know some of you guys think that other games can add up to this one but from what I have seen on that video I don't think that any of the rest can even hold a straw up to this. Look at how the rockets are launched from the jets and aleo the land detail.The last part of the video when the jet fires at that rocket and the way it is hit is something else...Mike
