It can be done !
Yeahooooo !!! Gimpy - I made it!!! Just had another scramble! Red dots in the middle of the screen! So, I started, hard to the left, right through some trees. There, outside the field, I did the only "trick" - I froze with "pause" and looked around my plane. They were 4-5 Tripes from RNAS-10, ace William "Mel" Alexander with them. Right after releasing "pause", I got hit and thought, now the end for another pilot. Pushed nose down, rudder hard left, through the trees again! Called "H" help, called "A" attack - it worked, the Tripe got driven away. Followed him; close direkt shot; he pulles up steep; get's one more, heavy blast; falls away sidewards. Another Tripe flys across my clock, I fire - serious hits! Now I mark the ace (well, that's another "trick", okay), to keep watch at him. Everyones curving over the aerodrome, it's dangerous; I climb out a bit and go for the highest flyer; plaster him with rounds, he dives, crashes, gone! Now the ace. I come from his lower left, as he just fires at an Albatros. He get's full cash all over his side! Turns towards me; now we left-curve round each other. As his turns are tighter, I must let the Alb "drift-drop" down, rudder hard left, towards the center - dangerously short before a stall; pull out again, curve on; he does circles, I do kind of triangles; repeat that for some rounds. Call for help again; comes; Alexander tries to climb away from us very steep, but before my Alb falls back down, I give him a full shower on the roof, again. He decides to turn left and fall, to gain speed; but he can't do the turning game again, my wingman's there; he must turn hard right - thanks, right into MY gun line. Devastating hits again! He tries to climb to the right, but somehow falls away, catches her up again, only to receive another blast. The end looks rather sad - he can't roll her up anymore and falls sideways 'till he crashes. Short after that, another Tripe crashes as result of my hits. God - what a fight. All that in only minutes! (May the lord forgive me my cheating - it was absolutely necessary...) Cheers; Olham
