• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

It looks like I wasn't communicating well with you friend. Please check your e-mail.

To those reading this that are completely clueless, my apologies. There was a mixup in communication (all my fault of course). Jaggyroad Films is working on a video for a few of Icarus' products. I would like to publicly acknowledge his hard work, his dedication to the hobby and the creation of his fine aircraft.

I would also like to state as a sign of good faith on our part that we are asking for nothing in return, if only to highlight a small and hard working development company such as Icarus. I think it is important from time to time for myself to give back to the community for which I love so incredibly much.

The issue came when our friend at Icarus saw an unknown IP utilizing the files for which he sent to me to craft the video. Naturally, he probably felt I was giving them away... I should have been more clear on my part and it was aboslutely my mistake. The files and IP in question are my associate here at Jaggyroad Films. Yesterday we downloaded the files in order to begin the process of filming his works. In my attempt to be as clairvoyant as possible I would like to publicly apologize for this slip and am willing to pay for the extra downloads out of pocket. I should have communicated to him that my associate was using the files for the video.

I am truly sorry friend for this mixup.

i read it only now...was a misunderstanding due lack of comunication..i know the other man now that you told me the name since cfs 2 time's era(he was cfs2 scenery designer if i remember well)...it's ok don't worry cody.

p.s. there many here interested to see the videos, there was also a post a week ago about people asking the video. I m sure that they will be very good.

Communication over the internet at times can break down..E Mails - PMs- Posts on message boards are all easy to loose their intended meanings sometimes.. It just happens...


I look forward to the video as usual with all you put into them. They are a great tool for us simmers to see a product at work....:ernae:
 
Wow, you don't know how relieved I am Icarus! I felt so utterly stupid for not mentioning that to you. I'm glad this is working out. More soon mate! I can't wait to finally put something tangible in your e-mail to see :D

Harley, thank you for your comment. I can't imagine how many times I have misinterpreted things said to me over the internet. This can be hard enough work without the usual mis-communication. It amplifies when you are doing 60-80 hour work weeks!

this happens easily on web..the important is to pass over and clarify when is possible...only to the death there is no solution
