It says it is an FSX model - but, having downloaded and flown it, I can say with confidence nothing is further from the truth - it flies and displays perfectly in FS9!

Thanks for the HU. :) Interesting planes like the A5 are what I look forward to seeing on Flightsim, rather than the tubeliner variations and repaints that appear day after day. I know a lot of folks like 'em but I prefer the oddball and vintage stuff.

yep pretty nice, it does work in FSX but the canopy is missing glass and looks like the spinner is untextured and no body in the plane.

oh this thing is fun...if i were a richman.dobbie doobbie doo...oh if i were a richman doobboe doobbie dooo...id have one of these in my yard...yes yes..in my YARD...folding wings..retractables gear (if you want the amphib) and a trailer to launch on a boat ramp....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:jump::jump::jump::pop4:

The contact points need to be tweaked a bit - braking on a runway gives a massive shower of sparks. Oddly enough, there's also a shower of sparks when taxiing on water. Oh, and it's another plane flown by the Invisible Man too. But in the air, she's a sweetheart!

Suppose to be only the version 1.0

Hope to see the 2.0 soon :)

I seem to remember this from quite a while back. I was hoping this was a different or at least updated version, but I guess not.

I watched on a replay as I landed, the sparks start flying, predictably, when you brake hard enough that the nose gear door strikes the rwy. Other than that, if you set down smooth and don't brake much, no sparks. Also, while I did get the "gear up on landing scraping sound" which sounds kind of odd in the water, lol, I didn't get any sparks either taxiing or taking off.

I fly mostly from the VC, probably 90% of the time and this is very close to not having one really as nothing, other than a few cutouts are textured. With that I went to the texture set and I get the impression from looking at several of the textures, that the developer may have intended to go much farther with the interior and then either ran out of time or expertise because there are textures in there (interior control handles, cloths for the pilot, console, etc) that are unused in the VC and also not used from the exterior view.

Too bad really, it would have taken the model several steps beyond the present version, but maybe he'll continue on and get more into the VC.

Also, there is a texture for the prop on one of the texture sets, another reason I think he just drop this and uploaded it as is. The real aircraft is a beautiful aircraft. It has really nice lines to it and I can imagine myself flying this baby all over Lake Texoma just north of me during the summer. It just has the look of an aircraft that would be very "new user friendly".

I hope the designer does more tweaking and releases a more detailed version at some point. I'm keeping this one though:salute:
