Ideas? Problem, Classics Hangar FW190

I should have perhaps gone to the CH forums, but I figured someone here might have already figured it out.

The problem I am having is when selecting the Sturmjaeger variants, the ATC name has a "/" character in it. When EZDok sees this, then tries to write a file for it, naturally is just doesn't read it as you cannot create files with special characters (as they are reserved for the OS). Any ideas?

Oupsasa!
I think it's the ui_type.
Just edit the ui_type entry in the fltsim.x section in the cfg to read something like "Fw190A-8 R2 Sturmjaeger" (just remove the slash), should do the trick.

Sorry mate, no dice. It isn't apparently controlled by UI_Type.

I did some tinkering around and found that it is controlled by ATC_Model.

I changed the value to: atc_model = Fw 190 A-8 R2 Sturm

Will this have any adverse effects?

Thanks for your support Mathias. Love these birds :)

Ah, sorry, I missread your initial post.
Shouldn't do any harm to change the atc_name in the general section.

Alright, perfect and thank you Mathias. Great customer support for a lovely plane. Of note, I find the Sturmjaeger variants to be my favorites. I enjoy the challenge of the smaller canopy windows. :D
