If you folks want to see where I go hiking regularly.

Scroll down to the videos and watch the first two, they are shorter. The last video is a program for a local station and long. I did some of the bike camera footage, not riding, filming.

Since these videos, they trail has grown to 18 miles. It is getting that time of year when I like to hike 4 to 6 miles each morning starting right at sunrise. Few cyclists on the trail, but I do have to be the web breaker! :icon_lol:

If you're ever in this area, call ol' Caz, I'll show you some historic ground, some done on bike, some better done hiking. All green!

Oh man, I'm jealous! That's one of the things I miss about living in Roanoke, being within a few miles of an abundance of biking trails. I don't know if bikes are allowed there or not now, but the Carvin's Cove resorvoir used to be an excellent place to go.

Have you ever been to southwest Virginia? I highly recommend the Virginia Creeper Trail, most people hitch a ride to the top on a van and coast down, only a few of us hearty souls attempt the ride UP to the top :ernae:

Thanks for sharing that site, I may have to come down there sometime and check them out!

Damn Man ... I so miss the up north stuff ... :ernae:

Such Beautiful country.

The only things I see here in the First Coast are usually sink holes. Then the PC crowd thinks you'll hurt yourself around one so they barricade it off. :(

Oh man.... Beautiful Caz...

You are blessed!

If you ever run out of yellow dust, let me know and I can ship a box over to you. All that shade, fresh water... arrrghh..

Beautiful place to hike Caz, this is where we hike. Mainly in the spring and fall or in the morning and evenings in the summer (but you have to watch for rattle snakes).
