I've actually been hoping for a decent sequel to this movie. Still love the original to this day.
TRON: Legacy obviously is on a better system these days with a high end 3D card.
Love the updated looks of the Recognizers.
I have seen other bits, it looks like it is going to be mind blowing visually.
I think the story may actually be okay.
My only disappointment so far is this has been moved from a summer release to a holiday one.
Means a little longer wait.
However, these days that's not bad. That usually means something good. Worked for Avatar, didn't it?

As I understand it...
Few years ago a script was written that everyone loved, including Jeff Bridges, but Disney didn't think the public would be into Tron anymore.
What I have linked below, is TEST FOOTAGE only. It was done [LINESTRIKE]to convince Disney to fund it, and[/LINESTRIKE] to show to test audiences to gauge their responses.
It was shown at ComicCon [LINESTRIKE]a couple years ago[/LINESTRIKE] last year, and I guess the crowd went wild.
EDIT: Also found out they had a 'viral event' where folks during a scavenger hunt, discovered Flynn's Arcade, and inside a secret room, a full mock up of a Lightcycle. Lots of YouTube videos on it.
After that the ball has been rolling, and I hear this project just keeps getting better and better...

I have been waiting to see this sequal as well. It is looking really nice. This is the movie that sparked me into a little basic programming on the commodore 64. I remember working for many hours just to program one of those Tranhs Recongnizers onto the screen...I did it but it just sat there and did nothing of course. Can't wait until the release!!!!
