IL-2 '46 BAT is the single most comprehensive combat flight sim there is for single player. Well over 500 aircraft spanning from WWI to modern jets. It's large though at over 70 gigs but worth it. If only WWII you are interested in then VP modpack is a good choice and it's all for free to boot.
