Hi!
Although not quite "new" to the game, it has been many years since I last flew this sim.
I am hoping to have a few questions answered if anyone can spare the time and knowledge.
I am using a laptop with Windows 7 (in case the operating system plays a factor).
Currently I am flying one of the game's campaigns (using version 4.09m) and wanted to know how to change the Pilot picture assigned to me?
I have an older joystick, the MS Sidewinder Precision 2, and lost the install cd. Although it is not needed for Windows 7 (as my machine recognized it right away), I tend to fly heavy handed and wanted to make the dead zone bigger so that it is not quite as sensitive? Is there a way to do this in Windows or do I need to find the MS Sidewinder Precision 2 software?
On a similar note, I am trying to get use to the TrackIR once again (I purchased a 4 from Natural Point directly) and I think I might need a slower profile than the default for flight sims. Something per chance that isn't quite as sensitive because I still act like a kid when I see the enemy and can't quite seem to sit still very long.
Thanks for whatever helpful hints you might be able to offer.
