Il-96 Model/cockpit Editing?

Alright so this might be a dumb question, but there are 2 IL-96s out there, both really good. One is the Samdim version, the other by Konavolov (I might have spelled his name wrong). The Samdim has more realistic landing gear, flaps, wing flex, and flight dynamics, but the other one has a VC. Is there a way to "copy" the VC from one to the other? Or maybe copy the exterior model of the Samdim to the Kon. Il-96, while keeping the virtual cockpit?

If both of them are FSX-native you can. If one of the two (or both are FS2004 port-overs) you cannot do what you you are hoping to. So, I recommend figuring that aspect out first.

:( Maybe someone can convince a payware developer to make a nice one..... looking at you PMDG...... or even Just Flight.....

In point of fact, the version by Kirill Konovalov and team is indeed native FSX
and thus includes a separate (internal) VC model.
Still no good for what you want to do of course, the other is Fs9.

Well, then there's still some hope

On a side note, how do I tell if a plane is FSX native? and then how would I copy the VC of one FSX plane to another?
