Important "airboss" update uploaded

This update fixes a syntax error that was preventing fighters based at carriers or airfields other than the player carrier or airfield from being reassigned to escort duty when needed.

This update also adds the option to allow AIRBOSS to automatically determine sensible numbers of CAP and escort flights emanating from each carrier or airfield, on an individual basis, based on availability of fighters at each individual carrier or airfield. This is a better system for most campaigns, because it is more flexible than the flat player-determined CAP minimum. This option is especially good for carrier battles with different types of carriers carrying variously configured air groups. AIRBOSS will ensure that each carrier gets adequate CAP coverage if possible, and will send out escort flights if possible.

However, I've left the player-determined option in, because it may be useful in long range strategic bombing campaigns.

To activate the automatic option, just enter the code "999" when prompted for the CAP minimum. The option will then remain active unless you change it.

Installation: Just drop the "AIRBOSS" file into your CFS2/Campaigns folder and let it overwrite the original.

The stuff you're posting sounds great E, but your original AIRBOSS package is still in the mud of the server crash....

Hope you're doing well. I'll be back full time after the 4th of July weekend. Doing well, just very busy with Pony Express, the usual for this time of year.

Hi Pen,

I'm doing well, thanks, And you?

The update is the program, with updated code. But it may not work without the configuration files included in the original package. I have no idea why I didn't include the configuration files in the update. Just stupid, I guess.:isadizzy:

There's not much to the configuration files, but they are needed to make things work right. I guess I'll put them into another quick download. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

This will all get straightened out in short order, guys. Moparmike is working on it.
