In case you missed this...

Don't make the mistake I made and log off before grabbing your installer key - luckily it was still there when I went back!

I'll stick this for as long as they're giving it away...

When you log in, there's a section that displays previous orders. Click on the order to display its history. Near the bottom there's an Order History section that contains the key.

well n fact the details appear in white over an equally whire page... that s why the order history case appereared blank/white it is only when i highlighted the text that i saw there was something... funny!

I've installed it and tried it out and am interested in others opinions on it.
Mine is that I'm not overly impressed. I think the recent freeware release with the correct sound package is much more realistic.
Don't get me wrong here, I still think this is a nice plane and very nice little Christmas present from their company. I'm glad I went and got it, but I like the other release better. (I guess their both technically freeware, it's just that this most recent one is being given away as freeware.)
Just wondered what others think about it.

No complaint since it's free. I respect anyone with the talent to build these things, since I don't have a clue on how its done.

But no, it's detail and complexity is not up to par with many recent freeware, donationware and payware releases.

But thanks for the Christmas gift. :ernae:

I think this one looks better than the other freeware version, a bit more detailed. The only thing that I do not like is that you only have a heading indicator in 2d view. When you fly VC only you have no idea where you are going. I now use Ctrl+Z to show my heading at the top of the screen.

With the vc is modded to add a heading indicator and a few paints added it will be ok.

Thanks for the help with the key!!! :ernae: I'd have never found it without all the good advice. Way too complicated for my feeble brain.:kilroy: And I thought Flight 1 was the ultimate obstacle course.

Thanks guys!!!!

Bob

This one has undercarriage spats and, in my view, a better pilot, but the other seems a little better finished to me and has some nice civil markings available at Classic British Files.
