In need of assistance

Hi guys....I just got a Saitek CyborgX yesterday and all in all it's a pretty good joystick..I like the feel and all the adjustments one cAN make and it's got a lotta buttons, etc. However, it has two throttle controls and for the life of me I can't figure out how to assign the second one to engine two( I'll work on four engines after I figure out two)....so, if anyone has one and has done this could ya let me know how you did it? Thanks, middle.

Nevermind! After much cursing and gnashing of dentures I got it figured out. I'm finding that this stick is a whole lot more accurate then any of the ones i've had before and with the pedals, I'm finding a whole new satisfaction with this sim....oughtta keep me entertained for at least a couple more years at which time I'll shell out the bucks for a machine that can run FSX and naturally I'll still be behind the state of the art stuff:icon34:, but hey, I'm havin fun!!!

I went to the saitek site last night and was reading the manual about programming this stick.....this thing has a lot of possibilties once I gain an understanding of how it all gets done. Back to it........:gameon:

I thought I'd bump this up one more time to see if anyone has a CyborgX stick.....Mine works great but the programming is somhow not sinking into my aging head...so, if anyone has one of these sticks and has figured out how to program it, could ya lend me a hand? The dual throttle on it is really nice but It would be even nicer if I could figure out how to assign four engines to it....so far, nothing I've tried has worked and I've read the programming manual a bunch of times to no avail......
Tjhis thinghas some kind of shift function in which you can double the number of buttons and/or program macros but the manual is kind of like by techs for techs, lol. mid

Hee Hee! Hi Cees...my trusty old sidewinder gave up the ghost awhile back...I'd taken it apart and cleaned it and babied it several times but the last time it was just too tired so I buried it with full honors, lol. Then I was using a not so good saitek that a friend had layed on me some time ago as a backup..it was missing a couple buttons and was really stiff.....then I finally had a few bucks to spend. This Cyborg is a good stick....it's just that I don't quite understand the programming...Oh well, I'll get it eventually.....
