inf: filelist

Wonder if someone could help me out on this. In my WWI install my inf/scenery will not create a new filelist. Is there a cause of this? Can I fix it? Thanks.

Thanks Robert John. But in my Pacific install the SCENEDB/inf/scenery does have a file list. But, in my WWI install, I had installed some new item in the SCENEDB/inf/scenery folder and removed the filelist that was present so the sim would create a new one (filelist) when I re-started the sim. However, no new file list was generated as it had in the past when I did add to the inf/scenery folder.?

Hi Stoney,

Did you play around with the scenery library? It appears the SCENEDB/inf layer is not active. Have a look at the scenery.cfg file with Notepad at make sure the word TRUE appears after ACTIVE, e.g.

[Area.011]
Title=Buildings
Local=SCENEDB\inf
Active=TRUE
Layer=11
Required=FALSE
Remote=

HMMM...I thought I did. But I'd better go back and check it out again. Thanks kdriver.

Nope. This is what I have:

[Area.010]
Title=Buildings
Local=Scenedb\inf
Active=TRUE
Layer=63
Required=TRUE
Remote=

Perhaps a dud file in the SCENEDB\inf folder. If you've made any recent additions to that folder, remove them and see what happens. Sorry I can't be of more help.
