Info for those who use VLSO

I have managed to acquire the data to add three aircraft to use with VLSO (Simworks Phantom, Milviz Phantom, and Razbam A-7).

The settings window within VLSO looks like this:

attachment.php

Here is the data:

Simworks Phantom

ATC Model: F4
Type: Phantom
Name: F4B Phantom

Angle of Attack
Slow: 10.50
Fast: 8.50

Distance Abeam
Close: 0.08
Fast: 1.20

Razbam A7

ATC Model: A7
Type: SLUF; (Short Little Ugly Fellow)
Name: F4B Phantom

Angle of Attack
Slow: 8.00
Fast: 6.00

Distance Abeam
Close: 0.07
Fast: 1.20

Milviz Phantom

ATC Model: mv_phantom_J
Type: Phantom
Name: F4J Phantom II

Angle of Attack
Slow: 10.50
Fast: 8.50

Distance Abeam
Close: 0.08
Fast: 1.20

Note: I read a post on the Milviz forum by someone who had added the Milviz F4 to VLSO, and he had to add some info into the aircraft.cfg file [General] section, which is this:

atc_type=McDonnell_Douglas
atc_model=mv_phantom_J
performance=
Category=airplane

Hope this works for everyone! I am still learning a lot about VLSO. Btw, I received word from the creator of VLSO that a new version (not a update) should be released next month (August). Cheers. NC

Vlso

Thanks chief, it takes getting used to using this but for someone to take all this trouble for freeware, its worth the effort and gratitude to him.

Thanks for posting those up NC. I've been reading over the A-6E and EA-6B NATOPS on avialogs.com, need to convert from displayed units on the AoA gauge to the degrees required of vLSO. Only "on-speed" units are listed, not the fast/slow range.

Sure thing, and thanks again. Sorry I did not give you credit in my initial post, but I DID do so on my FSDreamteam forum! Pete
