iniBuilds has released the MSFS 2024 native version of their T-33

Tim-HH

SOH-CM-2023
It's a free update for all existing customers and it comes with many new MSFS 2024 exclusive features

The only downside is that all repaints won't work anymore due to the new MSFS 2024 format.

Thank you for the heads-up, Tim. For those who may be wondering how to access the free MSFS 2024 T-33 update, you need to access your iniManager app, go to the settings, and set the path for your MSFS 2024 Community folder. Then when you go to your purchases and the T-33, it will then offer the ability to install the '2024 version.

Works like a charm! Serious bummer on the repaints, though... I've collected so many awesome liveries for it.

Flight model is noticeably better on FS2024. Really have to be attentive at low speeds.

I suppose that those of us who bought it through Simmarket will have to wait a bit?

No updates showing up in the app yet.

Looks and flies great.

Have any of you figured out to get USAF pilot and copilot in the cockpit?

Just finished the first end-to-end flight. Glad to see this one in 2024.

A couple of things I noticed.
-The Fuel Reserve Low light comes on randomly, even when there is plenty of fuel in all of the tanks.
-On the T-33's EFB, it doesn't show any of the ground effects options except the Ladder On-Off, but that doesn't seem to work.
-On the T-33's EFB the moving map didn't show anything other than terrain. GPS route, airports, navaids, etc were missing.

With regard to having an air force pilot in the cockpit, you can change your character's attire to appear in air force garb through the uniforms section and headwear. Unfortunately, you have to be in the main menu to access your character to make the changes. Also, there aren't such options for the co-pilot, and I'm not sure if you can add a co-pilot either (I haven't had success yet in adding co-pilots or passengers via the EFB in any aircraft).

On my end, the ladder on/off works, but the canopy must be open for it to appear.

In a future update for the T-33, I'd like to see a few improvements to the glass materials, especially on the exterior, which just doesn't look quite right - too dark or something (it reminds me of the glass material on the DC Designs aircraft, which has always been a turnoff to me).

I did play around with both of those, the pilot appearance and the co-pilot. The helmets seemed off, so I stuck with the generic guy. The co-pilot not appearing is probably tied to the 2024 problem with pilots in general.

Yeah, pilots are goodfornothing scoundrels. Always been. :playful:

And shouldn't that be Instructor and Trainee instead of Pilot and Co-Pilot ? Always thought that the ' T ' stands for ' Training '... ? ;-)

Did you notice the improved gauge glass in some of the FS24 VC's, John ? Waaay better than in FS20 where glass in front of the gauges is only noticeable while sitting on the cockpit floor. ;-)

Personally i love it ! I suppose it didn't make it into the T-33 VC, right ?
