Installation order

In what order should FSX/Accel Pack/SP1/SP2 be installed? I have always done FSX and then Accel pack and then it tells me I don't need to install the SP's. Am I missing something by not installing them first? I have been having gauge and panel problems for a while now and I wonder if that's why?
 
FSX and Acceleration are the only two things you need to install.

The Service Packs are incorporated into the Acceleration installation routine.
