Instant Scenery3 Update is Ready

FYI anyone waiting on V2.5 and IS.

With IS updated, I'm installing V2.5 today, previously ran 2.4. This is a full install of 2.5.12944.0, the current build available on the LM site. I run a dedicated SSD for the sim, so I did a defrag prior to the new install. Only took about ten minutes with the drive basically empty.

I also made a backup of the entire 2.4 install folder for easy retrieval of all the little bits that seem to get lost in a fresh install.

First tests showing IS opening in this build with no issue. The .dll isn't signed for this build, so you will get the caution menu each time you load, but that's not a big deal.

I'm seeing some major improvements in the interface, specifically the IS jitters have apparently been resolved. The library objects are stable with no shaking or wandering using all view options.

Nice work. I'll bump back in if any anomalies pop up.

To clear the warning pop up, select "check online". . .it will load a revision and the warning will no longer show each time you load the sim.

That's really good information. Thanks for the HU...much appreciated.

Edit: I read the articles and disabled the offenders. The SSD has been home to P3D since I built the box. I've done over two dozen installs with the various releases of the early builds leading up to 2.5. That's a lot of scenery and aircraft that have been written onto the drive.

I'm looking to step up to a 1TB drive. Now that V2.5 is looking "stable", I think it may be wise to look more seriously into a fresh home for the sim.

Thank you again gentlemen.
