Not sure, but damage repair would be a doddle; even the pilots, just swap in a spare head!
Willy, love that Corsair, the Ford's from that era had something about them; an Uncle of mine had a Mark 1 Cortina well into the 1970's, it pained us all when he eventually 'traded up'.
Andy, the one I drove, the guy that owned it was trying to trade it to me for a '66 New Anglia that I owned. I ended up keeping the New Anglia for a while longer. Wish I still had that little Ford.
Now you mention it Stan, I think the rivets may be a touch overdone as well.
Willy, the Anglia was another example of the quirky styling Ford used at that time - very evocative of the period too, I guess that's why it got picked by Ms Rowling for her books.
They were both a major leap on - when I was a very small child (about 5 or 6) by grandfather was still running a 1950's Ford Prefect, flick out indicators the works - the new Anglia's looked impossibly futuristic to me!!
