Internet Explorer 8 Beta

Just popped up on my screen with the download link. Anyone get the same or has it loaded already trying it? I can almost imagine it's geared towards Vista

I got IE 7 when it came out, but I had so many problems I went back to IE 6 and stayed with it.

IMHO stay with your present version. I have IE8, and have problems. Don't do it.

Sounds like staying with IE6 all this time was a smart move on my part.

You could also switch to Firefox.

I run IE7 with no issues, but I'll definitely wait until IE8 has been out for a while with a few patches issued beofre I switch.

I'll leave IE7 on the kid's computers, they like it. me, I'm Firefox through and through, don't even have an IE icon on my desktop!

Another option is the Apple browser for Windows, 'Safari'. I use it now as the primary browser. Tons better then IE7.

I had so many lockups with IE7. Daily, it gets to a point that it siezes functioning and I have to 'control/alt/delete' it to shut it down.

They were the best in software OS....! woooooooooot happened????
