I've been really impressed with the latest update. I get better performance and lots of "eye candy". It's time to completely uninstall FSX because I've moved on and this simulator (P3D), and it's great add-ons, deserves my full attention. It appears that LM has a policy (and the staff) to respond to user needs. And, of course, the producers of add-ons continue to entice me to purchase "shiny new bobbles"! 2019 is the year for P3Dv4!

For some really irritating and bloody annoying reason I'm have trouble logging and purchasing P3D4v.4! :banghead:
I'll figure it out soon enough but it's probably my security clashing with their security.

And yes indeed, a very interesting look into the future of P3D.

Due to the plethora of issues that seem to occur from "incorrect" installs, I have pretty much made it my habit to turn off security / anti-virus software for all simulator add-on installations (many times also for just downloading the software). My recollection is that I did it for my recent upgrade to v4.4, but I did the "client, contents, scenery" sequence. So far, so good.
