Intro movie

hi all,

i got a question. in the tweaking tips for improving fps there is always listed the intro movie to be turned off. does it really improve fps or did i get something wrong?
i disabled the intro movie and also disabled the prop graphic. althoug both are disabled there is still the intro movie appearing whem launching bhah, and in flight i can still see the prop graphic. did i do something wrong? does anybody else has this experience?

I normally disable the movie because it get boring around the 38th time.

Are you sure you were in the OFF Overrides, or the CFS3's they both look the same
 
You can't access OFF from Desktop ( that's CFS3 )

Go into Workshop, clic on button CFS3 Config:ernae:
 
Two different things.. one is in CFS3Config settings for CFS3's very own intro (which doesn't exist now in OFF).. one is from OFF Manager option in workshop to see our intro movie in off manager..

Neither will improve FPS by the way.
 
thank you all,
when i red your posts, i turned into a donkey, like in the old tom&jerry cartoons (sorry, i just got for my birthday the complete tom&jerry classic dvd collection, so i am a bit influenced). i thought i did something wrong or my installation went bad, but i simply forgot to check the OFF manager. i did'nt see the forest because there were too many trees. so we say here in germany if we are unable to see the most obvious.

Pops and Clicks on intro sound

Just as an aside, whilst on the subject of intro movie. I seem to get the ocassional sound "pop" or "click" on the movie.

It's no problem, as I have disabled it as above, just wonderd if anyone else was getting the same.
