Invalid run time error when trying to claim kills

Hello. I just received my copy of OFF3 today. Looks great so far. I've just started my first campaign. Both times I've completed a mission, there is a pop up that asks me to fill in a kill claim form. When I try to do so, it keeps telling me that the form is erroneous (I can't remember the name of my wingman and it won't let me look at the duty roster while the form is up.) I just give up and click accept.

When I do this, I get a pop up error message from Vista that says Invalid something or other, run time error 5.

I've patched the game up to 1.2. What am I doing incorrectly?

I get the same error, using XP and sp2
 
Enter something, make a note of your wingman or squad mates before take off.
i.e. if you have a claim for don't enter 0 for number of craft ;)

Or go to workshop stick it on easy claims whatever if you never fill it in anyway.

OK fixed - its when you click repeatedly on areas behind the claim form (trying to get your squad wingie names no doubt - you are meant to remember them!!).
Fix will be included in 1.25 which is an interim patch we are hoping to have out soon to address the Vista CFS3 MP mismatch issue.

For now just press the question buttons... and not the screen behind the claim form - or turn claims off in workshops - if they bug you!

Thanks. The claims don't bug me. Trying to remember how to spell Major Harlowe Burlslowe does though.:redf:
