Iran's first stealth fighter.....?

As they could make picture from it, it is definitely real, but does it fly :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

But it looks a bit like mock-up

Cheers,
Huub

Could it fly? I dunno.... The pilot sitting in it makes it look like a kiddie ride you see at the mall.....you have to put a quarter in it first to start it up? :icon_lol:

A short and low quality video has appeared of what seems like the 313 in flight, but it moves more like an RC model than a real aircraft.

The inside looks like some of the cockpit simulators on the web. Maybe they built this to train the pilots while waiting to steal enough technology to build a real one.

Maybe Dino should block his new F35 from Iranian IPs so they don't have software to run in it :mixedsmi:

I've seen some more pictures posted elsewhere and a couple things stand out to me. The engine inlets seem to be very small, and their position makes me think airflow at high AOA might be a problem. The canopy/fuselage interface does not seem to show a sealing method or latching mechanism. The ejection seat seems small to me.

The narration admits that what is seen "flying" is an RC model. Of course, you need to understand Farsi to pick that up...

And no, the coin box only accepts 50 Rial coins. It takes 2,000 of 'em though, since that's only about $2.26 U.S. :pop4:

Who can believe what comes out of Iran anyway?

There was a time when Iran (still called Persia in those) ruled from China to the Mediterranean Sea. When Persia became Iran many people from the intellectual elite fled from their country, which was a huge set back for an very well educated country.

Cheers,
Huub

One thing I wondered about. Why are the warning signs painted on the aircraft in English? Back by the engine exhaust are two stenciled "DANGER" labels. It takes a lot of effort to build such an object. I wonder what the people involved in building it were told - "do it, keep your mouth shut, or we will shoot you." I've met a few people from Iran. They're not stupid people so I imagine the only ones fooled by this object will be ......uh.....no one.

The pic I saw of it, the bubble canopy looked oversized and from what I've read about stealth, that kind of canopy gives off a big radar signal.

Either the pilot is too big or aircraft is too small to make this one believable... Maybe a drone with a pilot in it or its a RC mock-up.

I wounder if they tried to piece together our drone. Well what ever they did it does look like a Kiddie ride. I'd like one for my kids. does it come in pink or purple for my daughter. Or better yet, use it as a flight sim cockpit. Man! Now i want one.

Unfortunately it's advanced avionics suite is only compatible with CFS1.
