• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Nice to hear it... (pun intended). It's a good time to get some bargains in... what with all these sales on... Anybody would think Christmas is coming.:ernae:

And for those at all interested, my Christmas picks from the IRIS stables (in no particular order are....)

The Pro Series Christen Eagle and the F-16D Viper are top dogs at the moment.. nothing touches those two for downloads! :)

The Pro Series T-6/A Texan II Advanced is still a stable favourite, and even the F-14, whilst a little long in the tooth still brings in favourable comments.

For cheap and cheerful, you can't go wrong with the P-40: Aces of the Commonwealth pack for FSX, it's no A2A bird, but it's pretty, flies nicely and has some good sounds and skins and at just 14.99 AUD it's a bargain at the moment.

Lastly, if you like fast and loose with absolute disregard for reality, the Premium Series F-20 Tigershark is for you. It doesn't take itself seriously, goes like a bat out of hell and uses some neat dirty weathering techniques.. :) Be warned though, you need acceleration for the HUD function. :)

Hope that gives people food for thought.
 
Downloading the F-16 as we speak. The T-bird hangar doesn't do much good without a plane and I just couldn't hang with the port-over. Holiday wishes,
