The time has come...

Failing any last minute hiccups, we're looking at release of this fine lady at 12:00 Australian Eastern Standard Time on the 22nd August 2008! That's a little shy of 11 hours from now.

I may just have to pick this one up to play with until the J41 is released... though then I would have to get out of my beloved L-39... aaaah choices, choices.

We are absolutely spoiled right now by all these quality addons! This is prime time for FSX. :monkies:
 
it's FSX, and a hoot to fly! and nice on the frame rates too, on behalf of the IRIS texture team, and on behalf of IRIS in general, we hope you enjoy her, we certainly enjoyed painting her and ironing out the creases in her :wiggle:

Wow! That's awesome news on both counts. I love the Aerosoft HUD, but I don't fly it as much as I would like on account of framerates. It's also nice when developers are willing to share knowledge with each other. May stars kindle over both houses.

Did you get the Taxi/Landing light to show through your collimated HUD?
 
No, it's well known limitation with the way we do collimation. I think Mike 'Lotus' has a new special method of doing the landing lights to combat this, as seen in his cool L-39, but I don't know if he want's to share his secrets just yet..lol
