IS CFS2 up to date now?

No offence intended here, but I havent played a WWII sim for a long time and was wonder if CFS2 had been upgraded in terms of Scenery and damage modelling to ships and ground targets. I used to play online in Pacific Fighters and was wondering if the lastest add ons made CFS2 as eye friendly as that sim. I also never liked the user interface in other games as much as the CFS series, hence my desire to reload CFS2.:isadizzy:

Seriously? Dude! Just look at the downloads library. We love CFS2 because we can now make it anything we want it to be-any theater. You can even turn it into a civil war navel sim if you want.

First, look through the downloads library. Then, tell us what you want and we'll point you in the right direction. And welcome to the basement!

:wavey:

Welcome to the Basement! You can fly in any WWII theatre, also WWI too. Vietnam is in the works as we speak. As erufle say have a shuftie!

VFC, Welcome to the outhouse! :wavey:

I have a suspicion that you will be please with what you can do with CFS2 these days. :d

The MS crew probably never envisioned the monster they created outgrowing their design plans.

THIS NEXT SENTENCE IS JUST MY OPINION:
Had MS devoted more time and energy into what the great guys on here and other CFS2 sim-sites have done, they could have made CFS2 into a sim for the ages.

There really was no need for MS to go the route of CFS3, which most of us here have tried and come right, straight back to CFS2.
If MS would have given some of the talent on here access to the coding, CFS2 could become even better than these guys have made it.

Okay, down off my soapbox now! Sorry, going back to my room.:redf:

This may be trite, but CFS2 will never be up to date and that is the beauty of it. People are always adding more stuff and even breaking off to add new web sites. Talon is working on post-Flying Tigers China missions, you don't see that in many Sims. In CfS 2 you can fly Central Asia or Central Europe. And that is only today, we don't know who will add what tomorrow. By-the-way Alphasim has some great UFO free ware. Come on in.
