to go for instructing how to sort out
a) the transparent props in clouds issue
b) black glass from the VC
in older non FSX a/c.
I feel sure that there were threads here at one time but I cannot find them.

Prop in clous is a model issue, unless it is redone there is no fix, the black glass is an Alpha issue in the glass texture that can be changed. it got reversed in sp2 .
 
how about the horrible landing light effects -

the only plane that illuminates the ground properly with its landing lights is the sectionf8 Sabre jet...

the more I use FSX the more I find wrong with it - inspite of its strengths it can be downright disappointing
