Is there really anything to do in Blighty?

I am posted to 46 Squadron flying Sopwith Pups in August 1917 (I'm actually the CO, having chosen to begin my career as a major). I've flown about 9 hours now without getting close to an enemy. After becoming completely familiar with the Pup aircraft, I've taken to warping through the missions because they are so dull.

Are there any aircraft in the current set that fly over England? I realize that in later versions, we may get Gothas or even Zeps, but with the current mix of planes available, I cannot think for the life of me what one would face in terms of an enemy over England.

Can any developers answer this?

I've got about 10 days more to run until the squadron gets posted to France. In the meantime, I guess this is a good (though hardly honorable) way to rack up the flying hours.

You are on the cushy number, patrolling protecting England from Gothas and Zeps, and ... they aren't coming yet as they aren't in there yet :)

So choose a later date or set manual advance on campaign and advance through.

How do you do the manual advance? Was unaware that this was an option.

Workshop, campaign date advance.. change to manual/auto.

Now in campaign new button appears.

Thanks, good to know.

Actually lost that campaign, because I am having that same problem that others have had in damage not showing up. Am trying to locate that thread with the solution, but there are so many threads on here now, it's hard to find stuff just posted a few days ago.

Just go to Workshops and change the Detail to Normal instead of Hi Res. Hi Res skins won't show damage.

whoa! really? I'll remember that. why is it damage doesn't get displayed in Hi-Res?

Never had it in high res, but have corrected the problem using the steps Pol gave in another post (essentially CFS3 reset). Worked like a charm.

Now if I could only survive long enough to enjoy "damage" to my aircraft!
