• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Is this Legit?

It looks like a popup ad that is trying to hijack your username and password. The X closes it out so that's what I did until further notice.

There's no way that ctrl + f5 is going to give away your password. It is simply clearing the cache and refreshing the most recent version of the page.

Please try google before always assuming the worst... :kilroy:

It seems ligit, f5 + ctrl just refreshes the page, logining out and logining in this is normal to get a new cookie from us.

lets see, hummm, I didn't do it, lol, only 1 has seen this, it looks liglit, but so does them paypal scams.:icon_lol:
I would just log out and re log back in to see if this goes away.

Timing is everything...

The instructions are correct. There is nothing devious about it. This is the normal way to resolve forum issues.

It looks like CK or SOH Developer added instructions to the forum to be used if and when we have to do a software update.

They were probably added then shut off. Those lucky few of you got the chance to see them before they are planned on being used.

You may Disregard :icon_lol:
