This is a repaint of the IS4G BF-109E4- an unusual Emil flown by Feldwebel Werner Gottschalk of 6/LG2. His plane was damaged by anti aircraft fire during the Luftwaffe's airfield attack phase and he managed to bring it down near Hawkinge aerodrome & became a POW. The plane was in an unusual RLM02 and a non standard dark grey with a white rudder and wingtips, The white areas were painted over a previous yellow coat and this was showing through.
