Hello everyone,

I recently downloaded a Short Striling from the British Section here at SOH.

It works fine, however the prop circles are dark black and are not transparent.

Any fixes for this bug are welcome.Or are there any fixes to make the props transparent? Thanks

your missing the shared texture for the props.

two files called:

prop_man_static.dds
prop_man_blurred.dds

from memory there is a shared texture file available for download somewhere on the outhouse for the various IS4G planes.

there are many textures used by multiple models, so rather than have a copy of the prop texture in each plane, one copy goes into a shared folder and the various models can source it from there.

If you cant find it, PM me your email and I'll send them through to you.

Thanks Captain. However, I've replaced the stirling for the time being in my USB Hanger and got Beau Brummie's Whitley to try out. Nice looking aircraft for the Coastal Command.

Still too, can anyone tell me how to fly it? What are the Takeoff procedures and the like, or is it too hard to fly?

have you tried the AvHistory Stirling? It will have uprated FM, etc. Anything from Isolatti4gatti will be a bit dated now - Blenheim being a case in point.
 
Yeah I would like to try it out if it could be found on the site! Avhistory seems to hide the best files somewhere else than where they say they are.
