Just landed on North Bass Island in the Bellanca Scout (Tundra). Flew over from Kelleys Island. Parked next to the Post Office/Airport Office. Just about finished.
Thank-you for doing some of these Lake Erie region airfields, Ed.
I didn't realize there were so many little airstrips in this region - very scenic area for flying !
Thank-you, for this one, Ed. I will add this beauty to my collection, for sure.
I just flew the C421 Golden Eagle on a route from Parry Sound, Ont. south with pit stop at Billy Bishop in GTA, then continued south over Niagara Falls region, then hugged the Lake Erie coastline, over Pelee Island, and into Kelleys Island for a landing. It was a great trip, very scenic.
Now, I'm hoping you will do some more little airfields in the Bass Island region, lol, when time permits, of course.
found this one. . .not on the Great Lakes but close to one of them. . .anyone recognize it? It caught my eye because of the 3D buildings. Very rare for me to come across an airport that is that detailed. If I take it on it'll be a long project, that's for sure.
Great scenery addition to this area. I think my Orbx Vector may be acting up here as I noticed a slight 'step' in water elevation on one side of the island. I have this in a few Orbx regions as well.
