Stability & Performance​

  • Fixed a crash when you selected “As Arrival” in the EFB
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when closing and invoking the Camera menu after changing the Drone focus mode option to a value other than undefined
  • Fixed various crashes across the title

General Bug Fixes​

  • Fixed missing cursor on Xbox Live sign-in popup
  • Fixed an issue where you could lose focus when creating a new input profile.
  • Aircraft selection is accessible via the control menu, but can only be changed from the home page.
  • Fixed an issue where you could get stuck when accessing the menu bar from any help page.

They caused mine to crash on loading. I flew successfully for over an hour this afternoon before the update was released. Now, after reloading and having the update automatically download and install, it crashes about 10-15 seconds into initial load. I've tried 4 times, including 2 with closing XBox app. Getting ready to restart computer.

After a reboot, the sim loads to 25 seconds before crashing, at the same time after 4 tries. I had installed FSRealistic, (actually updated it,) inbetween flights. I tried uninstalling FSRealistic, no change, still laods to 25 seconds then throws an error and stops loading. Anyone else having this problem?

I've launched MSFS 2024 several times today, and the update has not downloaded. Does anyone know how to initiate the download/install if it doesn't happen automatically.

Mine did it automatically. I guess it works like Windows updates, when MS thinks it's time.?

I finally went to forums, seems to be happening quite a bit. I ended up uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling. Works now. Next thing to fix, also listed in bug report forums is CTD on exit, (every time,) and Tobii Eye Tracker wanders from center. I'll do that tomorrow.

Hopefully it starts and operates normally. Mine went boots up while starting after downloading and installing the update. Required an uninstall, reboot puter, then reinstall. All working fine now. Took less than 1/2 hr to do all, including quick test flight. Love the loading times now.
 
They have soooo much more to do. I would be expecting pretty consistent update going forward for awhile.
