It goes BOOOM!

This reminds me to restore my Falcon 4 + Falcon AF checklists an manuals.

We'll see how realistic it will be. Falcon is the benchmark to beat ;)

The aerosoft one didn't reach the level

Hi David,

I'm dying to know how you managed to do realtime "parameterisation" of an explosion effect in the scenery (in time and in place, based on aircraft's place/speed/attitude calculations).
Because that's the basics of this trick, right ?

Great job indeed !!:applause:
And Yes, very unique in MSFS.

Just wondering after looking at the video: what has happened to the scenery object if I would fly back over it ? Actually destroyed ?? :icon_lol:
Although I realize that would even be the next (even more impressive) step forward in MSFS design ....

Rob,

I wish I knew how Michael did the gauge. There's absolutely heaps on innovative items in this F-16, such as a coded fly by wire system, the CCIP, um..and other stuff I still need to learn about ! lol.

If you would like, I can happily put you in contact with Michael and he might be able to pass on some info. As for the target you hit..well that's still there. The droppable ordnance has no effect on static scenery, but well... it looks SO COOL! lol.

I would like to touch base with you in the nearby future regarding my latest WIP, the F-35B Lighting II. Needless to say, I'm looking for VTOL.. :)

Martin,

Please don't be under any illusions, no F-16 in FSX can come close to Falcon 4. Simply because of the limitations of the sim engine itself.

However with that being said, we're doing our very best to make it as accurate as possible within the limitations we have.

I wonder how hard it would be to change ATC chatter instead of saying "Traffic Alert," saying "Bogey" or "Contact."

CCRP? Unfortunately that requires being able to manually set a reference point in the sim world. Something that AFAIK isn't possible within the limits of XML coding.

Whilst we've posted that challenge to Michael (Yes, we're never happy! lol) I doubt you'll see it anytime soon, if ever.
