Naw LD, it's a whole 'nother story. Has to do with lightning running in on one's tower (in spite of surge protection), and frying a motherboard. But the real Dante's Inferno had to do with one inept tech at Tiger Direct/COMPUSA in Durhan, NC. Real bad, left screws out, forgot to hook devices up, didn't activate the Vista 64-bit he reinstalled, was hell for me, but I got 'r' done.
I am still writing a letter to the store manager to see that this twerp gets canned. I don't want him working on anyone else's computer, if the quality of his workmanship is no better than what he did putting a new motherboard back in mine. Knew I should have done it myself with my buddy George. All he did was install the motherboard and run the BIOS, I shall not take up your time and mine explaining all the necessary Microsheet stuff I had to do to get all my devices working. It's people like this that give me the creeps, because we innocents have to pay for their irresponsible and sloppy work. And if all othrs had this kind of mind, people like this would not be working in that store, which has a good name.
Sorry for the rant, but it's been pure high BP torment.
